I got to work as the on set photographer for NOX the movie.  It was a very professionally done 35mm panavision project with cool stuff like a car rig and a slider on set.  It was fun to work with Jimmy Woll again.  We worked together on “Figgy Puddin’” as director (Jimmy) and DP.  We had a top notch crew and terrific actors, including an up and coming little girl (Lia Marie Johnson) with a big smile and a hug for everyone, who also easily pulls off complicated emotions in this film. 

Nox is the story of a young girl, Allie and her older brother Evan, who is also her guardian. They are like everyone else, except for Allie’s psychic abilities. While Allie enjoys everyday life as an eleven-year-old, Evan is falling in love. Vanessa is the new girl in his life and their budding relationship is a playful and lovable one. One evening, after dropping Vanessa off at home, Evan returns to his place to discover that Allie has had one of her “flashes”. It eventually occurs to Evan that Allie’s visions involve Vanessa and that her life may be threatened. It all comes down to Evan, Allie, and the race to save her.
